Techniques 1 My work is largely thrown on an electric wheel using a range of clays but I am now homing in on paler stoneware clays which I glaze fire to about 1240 C. I also make individual forms using combination methods – slabbing, modelling etc.

Techniques 2 I make plaster of Paris moulds for slip casting repetition pieces and often use these to produce sculptural forms.

Techniques 3 After biscuit firing work is glazed using glazes which I have developed and include a range of finishes and colours – matt, shiny, textured, metallic etc.

All work is glazed and fired at High Ridge Pottery.
